Over the span of 20 years with over 12 phases of construction, the Arcot Lutheran Church Project has continued to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people in Tamil Nadu, India. With a total of 92 schools (Elementary and High School) comprising 1000 classrooms, the yearly enrollment is estimated at about 40,000 students. Built over 10 phases, the project scopes included classrooms, dormitories, staff quarters, dining/assembly halls, and administrative centers. As well as primary education, the project also created two Teacher Training Institutes (one for each gender). In addition to the literally hundreds of thousands of students who have been educated in the project, the facilities have also been used for adult education and in-service training of teachers.
