Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre - Cancer Center

Being only the third comprehensive cancer treatment center in Tanzania, the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC) Cancer Centre is prepared for the future of cancer care. After construction of a diagnostic and infusion therapy building, Msaada designed and supervised construction of the In-Patient Ward for Male, Female, and Pediatric cancer patients. Formerly proposed as a plastic surgery center, the future Ward was up to lintel level before Msaada was asked to repurpose the building into a Cancer In-Patient Ward.
The third leg of the Centre, the Radiation Therapy Centre, was also designed by Msaada and is currently nearing completion. Comprised of 4 linear accelerators and a Brachytherapy Suite, the radiation centre will offer necessary services to the northern population of Tanzania.
