Reconciliation Lutheran Church Community Center

The Evangelical Lutheran Church America Global Missions requested the assistance of Msaada to design and construct a community center and church in South Sudan. The goal of the center was to serve as a United Church in South Sudan, a center for many tribes and many languages. The original campus plan including worship space, a training center and a small clinic. The clinic was to include examination rooms for General Medicine, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology and HIV as well as counseling rooms for Psychiatry and HIV.

After completing the Church, Community Centre and Clinic, Msaada was asked to return to complete a Maternity Unit Addition. This 396 square m two story addition created a 24 hour delivery bay with 9 maternity beds. Upstairs, additional sleeping rooms were provided for overnight staff use.
