Tanzania Children's Rescue Center

With the expanded need for orphan care in Northwest Tanzania, LifeSong for Orphans needed some additional beds for boys in Mwanza, Tanzania. Msaada assisted with a conceptual design for a two-story 120-bed dormitory. Also included in the design were two house parent flats (one per floor) and lounges for the boys. The dorm was a donut design surrounding a central courtyard. This design allowed natural light and ventilation into the core of the building without compromising security or privacy.
